Sask Mouthguards

Mouthguard Clinic

What is it?

The University of Saskatchewan's College of Dentistry is having their annual mouth-guard clinic in order to provide the best mouth-guards at a reduced cost to the community.

The clinic will be where a customized mouth-guard will be fabricated and be ready for pick up the following day. The clinic also serves as a major fundraiser for the graduating class every year.

When is it?

The clinic will be held on September 23rd, 2018 and pickup of the completed mouthguards on September 25th, 2018.

How much does it cost?

Each mouth-guard will cost 50 dollars and we will accept payments in cash or cheque payable to Saskatchewan Dental Students Society.

If you are interested in an extra mouth-guard we will offer additional ones at a cost of 30 dollars per extra.

How does it work?

  1. Prebook your appointment using the form below
  2. Arrive at the clinic 10 minutes prior to your prescheduled appointment for sign in and mouth-guard color selection
  3. You will then be escorted to have an impression taken
  4. Return September 25th between 5-7pm for pickup.
  5. Enjoy your customized mouth-guard!

Why do I need one?

A mouth-guard is an essential protective device that is used to prevent injuries to the teeth, arches, lips, and gums during activity.

Mouth-guards made at the College of Dentistry are customized to fit each individual and are fabricated using the highest quality laboratory techniques.

Customized mouth-guards are superior to the 'boil and bite' type mouth-guards by providing superior protection, and are much more comfortable as they are considerably less bulky.

How do I sign up?

Please fill out the following form to sign up for a mouth-guard. Please note to fill out an individual form for EACH person that will need a mouth-guard!
